We're Just Happy to be Doin' Good Works!

Well, ladies and menfolk, check your calendars and you'll see that we are indeed less than one month away from the 2008 Can't Stop the Serenity worldwide screenings and you need to go!! As expected, I am a sponsor for my local screening in Toronto. This year I have donated a only-one-in-the-whole-'Verse custom made woven throw featuring the ship Serenity and the show's theme lyrics. It was quite the challenge to let it go, I must say, and I hope it brings in tons of cashy money for Equality Now.

I'm also happy to say that Firefly Cargo Bay is not limiting it's shiny wares to the auctions and give aways to just Toronto. Merchandise from the shop will be available at screening in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Charlotte, North Carolina and Austin, Texas. Take your coin to these screenings and bid on the auctions or buy the raffle tickets and you too may walk way from the Big Damn Movie with some wares from Firefly Cargo Bay.

Even if you're not near any of those cities, you should see if there's a screening in your local area. It's not just a movie, it's an event! And if you're organizing a screening and you'd like some shiny stuff for your attendees, drop me a request at earthgirl@kos.net.

See you in the theater!!

Out to the Black Again

Polaris has cashed my payment check, so Firefly Cargo Bay officially has a spot in the dealer room for this year's sci fi con. Come on out and stop by. Lots of shiny stuff will be there, including some EXCLUSIVE items that won't be available anywhere else.

I know several local Browncoats who have already confirmed their attendance as well, so get your membership and join us for a gorram great time July 11-13, 2008 in Toronto at the airport Doubletree hotel!

Until next time:

April's New Product

I was continuing in my "one new product every month" for 2008, and realized I hadn't TOLD anyone what it was! Tragic Space Dementia is to blame!

So, January's was The Companion Fan and February brought us The Kaylee-esque Parasol. March roared in with Black Market Beagle Bobbleheads

In April, I thought it was very fitting, since we were doing Bards Without Borders, to introduce "On the Drift: Music Inspired by Firefly and Serenity" cds by the Bedlam Bards as the New Product of the Month. The cds are being offered for $15.00 plus shipping and will also be available at any shows I attend in the dealer room. Visit Firefly Cargo Bay secret stash website to pick up your copy, or visit the bedlam bards' main web page too (link to the left there)

The May product of the month will be announced shortly- but before June, I promise!!

Until next time:
